CHICAGO -- At least 47 people have been wounded, six of them fatally, in shootings since Friday evening across Chicago.
The gunfire included fatalities in Loop and West Chatham parking lots and on a Red Line train in Chatham. Non-fatal attacks included two double shootings that injured four teenagers, according to Chicago police. No arrests were reported in any of the shootings.
Last weekend, 48 people were shot, five fatally, across Chicago.

Not that I want more fatalities, but it seems like pretty poor shooting to me.
Any combat veterans have a gut feel for wounded vs. KIA? My Army Ranger Vietnam veteran cousin told me once that it's amazing how many rounds can be fired in a firefight from both sides, and nobody killed or wounded on either side.
It seems we could have ended “gun violence” a lot easier by banning Chicago.
Well, as far as no arrests being made. The Chicago City policy is that police can’t chase suspects, even on foot. If a perp runs, the police just let him go. Of course even if the perp is dumb enough not to run, the prosecutors won’t ask for bail and he’ll be back out on the street a few hours after the arrest (liberals are puzzled why crime has skyrocketed in Chi Town).
How's that? The guns come from Indiana?
Well why doesn't Indiana have the same regular shoot-'em-up problems that Chicago does?????
Maybe it's not the guns from Indiana (or anywhere else) that's the problem. Seek Truth, and maybe you can discover what's causing Chicago's horrifying murder and gun-shot problems. You certainly won't solve the problem by obfuscating Truth. Denial will get you nowhere, contrary to the preachings of leftists, "wokies," and Democrat politicians and their toadies.

In 2018, a black community activist, Tio Hardimann, ran for the Democrat gubernatorial nomination. He said the crime problem was caused by there being too many bad people in Chicago. That’s obvious, but it’s refreshing to hear a political candidate acknowledge it.
Unreported in all of these stats is that a gunshot victim needs anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 in medical care, more if there is paralysis or rehab involved.
It’s a fair bet to say that most of the victims are not privately insured, so the (unrecoverable) cost is “written off” or more accurately passed along to those with private insurance.
This is never discussed as a reason why your healthcare is expensive and sucks.

I would venture to say that close to zero percent of the gunshot victims in Chicago carry any sort of private insurance. The result is that the rest of us are stuck with the butcher's bill.

That has been going on in America since LBJ started his war on poverty with the massive abortions of Blacks and never rebuilding any buildings ruined by rioters and just old age.

Democrats and RINOs have many different plans, proposals and laws to take guns away from law abiding citizens.

Chicago taxpayers pay a bundle every year to patch up gangbangers so they can go out and shoot and get shot again. It would save them money if they gave these folks some training in how to hit the target.
