Besides, Miejer in Michigan, NeverTrumper R Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler in Washington may yet lose too, despite early news that she and Newhouse survived impeachment votes.. Late votes in the Top 2 primary are trending to drop her to 3rd, and out. R Joe Kent trails by 250 votes with 11% still to be counted.

57k D votes in the southwest WA district race..... .. 100K R votes so an R should hold CD#3 even if Beutler loses.

Looks like another win for Trump.

That is so good to hear!

I had the same thing in 2013. They put me under, though, and sent a probe up through my main leg artery to my heart. Nothing wrong. Even though my EKG said I had a “heart attack”. As my cardiologist said, “Sometimes they’re wrong, and you have a take a look to prove it.”

First, you have to go to the bottom of the chart to get the total numbers for Dems and Reps. Dems down 7% and Reps up 18%.

The chart is what it is. You can compute other info by using the numbers.

CA showed a decline for both parties, but the Dems suffered a bigger decline. In TX there were 400K more Rep votes in 2022 compared to 2018. Dem votes were up 33K.

In terms of primary voter turnout, it must be noted that a lot depends on the various races in each state. The Lake-Robson race for Gov attracted a lot of voters while the Dem nominee was unopposed. In the Kent primary, I heard Joe say the other day that turnout in the district surpassed the 2020 Presidential election.

Thanks! I remember her winning against the Trump-endorsed candidate, but not that she voted not to impeach.

The war on rinos continues, they need to go. ...................

Yet another thing we need to remember come the first of the year.

New hires both in the Senate and House will be hammered by both Mitch the _itch and McCarthy the weak.

They will be told if they don't tow the line they won't get any committee assignments and when their elections come up there will be no money for them. For those who don't give in immediately new candidates will be funded to the hilt to take their place come election time.

It's all BS to keep them in line and works much of the time.

They need to be ready for all this and ready to stand up to the criminals who are in charge in both houses so we don't have a repeat of the Tea party people who were savaged as they entered both the House and Senate by heads of their own party.

Trump has gone to every extreme he could to make sure we have great candidates turning into great legislators. It's up to us to keep fires lit under the heads of both the House and Senate and let them know we will be all over them if they don't do the right thing.

Kent was saying Beutler had over 5 million dropped the last month by the National GOP to defeat him. Most controlled by McCarthy who obviously is a NeverTrumper.

Maria's losing her touch. Big no to Cruz and Dershowitz.

I voted for Ted twice, bought his book, but he's been too full of himself for the past 5 years.

Her show's the best of the lot, but the bar is set really low.

Truth!

There are also far less posts. I note the time a new thread is posted. It used to be during the day and especially early evening, the new threads got posted every minute on average. Now it is 5-10 minutes or more.

We’re aging on Free Republic.

Controversially maybe, but I think there is too much infighting with nothing but personal and stupid attacks on many threads, too. Conservatives should have many different opinions, but some seem to think there is some litmus test that everyone should believe or they’re worthless.

And there’s just so much more out there...

Rumble, Truth Social, Parler, etc.

But still, the motherlode of all conservative voices is Free Republic.

Spend a few bucks and help out!!!

Or, on the other hand, they could gang up on the RINOs, as Laura Boebert suggested:

GOP Rep. Boebert on Midterms: ‘We Cannot Run as Conservatives and Govern as Democrats’

Good news regarding your heart!!

A friend of mine (for whom I was medical power of attorney) was short of breath & had a heart catherization - no heart problem found. In fact, for her age (80’s), her heart had a high ejection fraction (meaning it was doing its job, pumping blood throughout the body). The cardiologist said it’s not heart, check out the lungs and it turned out that is where she was having an issue. So your doc does have other places to look - it’s an encouraging sign that your shortness of breath issue seems to be improving somewhat.
Best wishes - glad you’re back & your “ticker” is in good shape!

One local talk show host in my area, knows Mace from his Charleston days. He is heavily involved in the SC Republican scene. It is safe to say that he despises her..calls her corrupt and unethical. He feels the same way about Graham and Scott. 3 anti-Trumpers. Add Haley to that mix.
He is one of the few who says he is not sure the Reps will take the house in Nov.

Except for Oz, Trump has a good slate of candidates. Really impressed with Tudor Dixon who will go against Whitmer. Gaining control of the Senate will be tough, but getting the Dems on the record for this latest Green New Deal crap aka as the anti-inflation bill will hurt them in the Fall. Hell, adding 87,000 IRS agents should be enough to take them down. Biden wants to use this bulked up IRS to go after his political opponents, shades of Lois Lerner.

Wow. I thought my situation was a rarity. And yet two others here on Sunday thread with similar events. In 2013 too, I had an EKG as part of regular checkup. My Doc freaked out, called 911 and they rushed me to ER. 7 hours later after an angiogram (same procedure as you two), I walked out of hospital with less than 10% blockage in only artery, nothing in others.

DJT can’t come back soon enough for me.

Any many of us throughout the US. The Dems showing they only want $$$ to spend on enriching special interests and for freebies to buy votes.
