This is why I’ve been saying for a long time, Ukrainian RUSSIANS are increasingly siding with the resistance rather than the occupiers, especially in the last couple of weeks since the Berkut special police force was recreated by the Russian administration.

What’s very troubling is, the brutality Russians have meted out in response to any kind of resistance (even passive resistance) has resulted in a level of hatred toward the fighters and collaborators that didn’t exist at all six months ago. And Russians now have to watch their backs.

Even to the point where Ukrainian and Russian kids are going out in gangs, armed with knives - and taking out the enemy opportunistically.

The thing about the atrocity problem on the Russian side is that I believe at the end of this Russia will emerge weaker and that China will take advantage of the situation, and nobody is going to care because people will think the Russians deserve a blighted future because of all the atrocities.
