This is a major corporation signaling they recognize China’s claim on “One China” and Taiwan being subject to it’s vicious demand to rule over it.

Please don’t misunderstand. While I understand why Nixon withdrew recognition of the Republic of China in favor of what styles itself The People’s Republic of China, I don’t think it was the right thing to do.

It may be.

What has bothered me over the years is the tendency for
Taiwan’s leaders to talk about unification on normal terms
as if it didn’t matter.

Now it may have been that oddball guy like Schiff here, or
something, but it sure makes me wonder if they deserve my
support or not for their autonomy.

I guess their main leader would be the one to pay
attention to though.
