I know you make a sound argument, but I sure don’t agree with it.
I don’t know if I agree with it either! But if I were in charge of Mars Wrigley I can see how I’d have to make the call. The apology changes nothing for the 24 million souls in the R.O.C., except perhaps their enthusiasm for Snickers bars. It’s not like what Nixon did.
It actually does impact the people of Taiwan.
This is a major corporation signaling they recognize China’s
claim on “One China” and Taiwan being subject to it’s vicious
demand to rule over it.
