There’s so much animosity at the leadership, I’m not sure
that’s going to play as big a roll as it did in the past.
These guys are running against the incumbent for a reason.
They aren’t going to forget that.

I hope I am too. But based on what I know about the Swamp I have to call it as I see it. Regardless of what we think/feel, the GOPe has enormous influence over its people and it has decades of experience in flipping newly elected representatives. Trust me, they are very good at doing that. And quite frankly, its not all that hard to do. Once people get to DC it isn’t long before they contract Potomac Fever and easily bend to the ways of the Swamp.
I really wish Trump had started a new party. That would have given us a fighting chance and I believe it would have completed destroyed/replaced the GOP. People crave a party stands for something and is willing to fight for it.
