I know what WE think about this but I really wonder what average apolitical Americans think when they happen to read or see a news report. Are they aware enough of what objective “news” is supposed to be to know that this is a biased statement right on it’s face? Or do they just swallow it without quetsion like CNN intends?
The average person who doesn’t follow politics isn’t necessarily dumb. If the same kind of statement were made about something in their personal life, wouldn’t they be at least a bit skeptical?
They all have a hotline to DNC Headquarters.

I think CNN and the rest of the MSM are playing directly to the "Dim-Bulbs" in America.
Unfortunately, there are still far too many of them.
Younger people don’t have the life experience, nor the tools, to weigh claims or assertions.
They tend to accept what is presented to them without a lot of questions, particularly when incorporated with advertising, heavy repetition, and reinforcement through alternative forms of communication, like music and entertainment.
They don’t call it programming for nothing. This is often both subtle and sometimes not so subtle. Not one in a thousand will realize what is being done to them. And then there’s “education”, aka known as the schools.
