Here's my view of the Trump rally from D.C. on January 6th, 2021. It was cold and windy. It was an awesome experience.
We arrived at the Ellipse at daybreak and the crowds were already there. Decided to stake out a place in the field on the north side of the Washington Monument. By 10:30 am the areas from the Ellipse to the Washington Monument was shoulder to shoulder.
I removed my American and Trump flags from the makeshift flagpole and tywrapped my phone to the pole and hoisted it up!
The horizon gets a little crooked but overall the video speaks for its self.
Thank you. D.S. McLaughlin
Trump has a fused bond with tens of millions of his supporters, which has not been seen in modern America. You would have to dial back to the founders to see this type of relationship between a leader and the people.
If you have not seen this video, I suggest you watch this recorded piece of history.
This video is only about 3.5 minutes long. Watch until the end as the camera pans this historic scene.

We had at least 800,000 people there that day, perhaps more. It was one of the best days of my life.
Our Founding Fathers would have been proud to have been among us.
👍👍👍👍
Hard to get a good measurement without comprehensive overhead shots, but it was a very large crowd.
My posts matter, right?
That was beautiful. Thanks for posting it!
Goes to prove it was NOT an insurrection. If that many people wanted to overthrow the government it would now be gone, guns or no guns. That’s why these fiends are going on an on about Jan 6, they are terrified and think if they bully us enough we will tuck tail and run.
Just Awesome!
You hit the ten ring. If that would have been their intention they could have overrun every building in D.C. and not fired a shot. I would guess if they had been armed and that was their intention, it would have been a cake walk.
They’re fortunate it was a very civil crowd. This time.
I was there, it was a great day.
We were standing on the curb on Constitution Avenue. That crowd of patriots is why they are so scared. They will never have that love and support.
Wonderful vid. thanks
Jan 6th should have taken place in over a dozen State Capitals, for weeks, if not months. Not just a one-off- one-day protest party in D.C.
They should still be going on today!
It should have never been accepted that those who entered the Capital should have then been picked off for Fed prosecution and illegally held, under hellish conditions, until, this time.
Where is the stomach for an American Bastille Day?
Apparently, we need one.
Americans like to party too much. This was a super serious matter, not a party. It truly should have resulted in a 2nd civil war.
But it didn’t. And now look.....
Ping
You’re welcome!
You’re lucky...Unfortunately, there was no way I could have made it!
It was when we had a "politician" running who actually expressed his passion for America. I'd put Reagan in that category. w/o passion for a set of beliefs and principles and goals and vison, it's hard to garner support. Which is why having sloths like McConnell and McCarthy at the helm is so troubling.
The leftist Communist/media, level of hate for Trump has NEVER been seen in American history. So bad the FBI, CIA, DOJ, et al, attempted to criminally undermine, compromise and overthrow a presidential candidate, then as president of the United States.
Trump has all the right enemies for real good reason.
