Disagree. There is bounce back and that doesn’t help “same-direction” traffic. Neither would you want to plow into one.
At least not on the Jersey Turnpike. And many other roads where there is no median *except* Jersey barriers.
Just plain guard rails will do.
Ah...That's exactly what they were designed for...lol. They were designed to keep you from getting hit head on by opposing traffic. They're moving at 65, you at 60 mph, that's a 125 mph impact..You don't get that kind of energy bouncing off a K rail. Most resemble a fatal aircraft crash.
Nothing personal, but from my perspective anyone against K rails on undivided highways has no idea WTF they're talking about.
