Ah...That's exactly what they were designed for...lol. They were designed to keep you from getting hit head on by opposing traffic. They're moving at 65, you at 60 mph, that's a 125 mph impact..You don't get that kind of energy bouncing off a K rail. Most resemble a fatal aircraft crash.
Nothing personal, but from my perspective anyone against K rails on undivided highways has no idea WTF they're talking about.

I’m not “against” Jersey barriers, but it’s not the perfectly rosy picture you paint. Sounds like the people all excited about using seatbelts. It’s going to save everyone!
Just because you’re not in a head-on doesn’t mean you’re not going to be banged up but good. By the barrier, or by crashing into someone else going “the same direction”.
Don’t tell me no one ever died crashing on a barrier highway after hitting the barrier.
