A senior Russian senator has said Russia will come to China's aid if there is escalation with the US over Taiwan. Vladimir Dzhabarov hope the two countries can help each other militarily
A top Russian senator has pledged his country's support if China goes to war over Taiwan, sparking fears of a massive escalation and World War 3.
Vladimir Dzhabarov said he sees "no grounds to refuse to help China," as tensions in the region have risen after the visit of US Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
In his role as first deputy chairman of the international committee in Russia ’s Federation Council, he said he hopes help for China would be "a two-way movement" as Russia continues its war in Ukraine.

Expected. ;D
With friends like Russia, China doesn’t need enemies.
Ludicrous headline.
This man does not speak for Russia.
Good grief what sensationalism. This man does not command Russia’s armed forces. And “I see ne reason why we would not help China” does not mean Russia is committing troops. This source is off my reading lost of what I would consider credible.
That’s funny 😄
Russia could hardly beat its way out of a paper bag anymore. They already have asked china for help as they are so depleted both in equipt and manpower.
Thanks, Nancy.
With what?
The Neoconistas are drooling with delight.
She is a sotted sow, Jim.
It's Christmas morning for them!
Good one
“What did Obama say about Biden? It was something like “never underestimate Biden’s ability to f*** things up”.
The one thing the Kenyan got right.

and yet, that silly Doomsday Clock hasn’t advanced one second since Russia and China have openly advanced the possibility of offensive nuclear warfare
i even emailed them and called them on it asking WHY???
yeah, NO... they dint reply
Let's look at some current history and some past history.
The Russian army should have had the entire Ukraine in three weeks. Four tops given the large disparity in numbers (troops, tanks, artillery etc).
Our military would have had the Ukraine and the Crimea by that time.
When was the last time China won a war? Skirmish? Amphibious invasion? If the Chinese hadn't built the Great Wall, the Mongols would have eaten their lunch.
I know it's 2022 and they have built up the military, but I don't think they have the stomach for a protracted war. I forget, what is the time frame of your prediction?

All this drama….
China isn’t invading Taiwan, and Russia would be little help if they did.
Everyone needs to relax and pour a cool drink.
