” If Russia severs the supplies of gas it has already drastically reduced, authorities fear Europe risks becoming a colder, darker and less-productive place this winter”

thats sugar-coating it.......Europe risks freezing to death!

Yeah, they’ll adapt without wholesale energy — but MILLIONS will die until it stabilizes and adapts to the new reality!

So global warming will become a good thing four months of the year - my heart flutters at what Greta will think of this.

If push comes to shove they might try heating their homes with that evil coal or wood. Beats freezing.

I grew up with two parents and 6 siblings, none of us froze to death but we all sure huddled around that pot bellied coal burning stove on cold school mornings. The entire little town in swampeast Missouri where I lived smelled of burning coal, I miss it, to me it’s the smell of living.

It may kill me yet but I’ll never die young, I’m 77 now.

Nope “Europe “ doesn’t.

Grill have a lot of pain, but no one is going to freeze to death.

There are enough supplies to prevent that, both from Norway and the USA.

Furthermore southern and central Europe bar Germany don’t have that problem.

And France gets 70% of its energy from nuclear power
