The news agency added, "After checking the public flight information, there are still a few flights taking off smoothly at Quanzhou Jinjiang Airport and Xiamen Gaoqi Airport this morning, but almost all the flights that have not yet taken off have been canceled.".

Well that’s not comforting! Don’t like the sounds of that....Pelosi gone too far this time?
Somethings up. I guess we will find out soon.
[almost all the flights that have not yet taken off have been canceled]
Because the airplanes are needed to fly troops to Taiwan? /hey might as well go full tinfoil
(Hope I’m just joking - these days....who knows)
In China when the military is on maneuvers then China gets restricted fly zones. Thus, many flights are canceled or delayed.
Yes, however, the question of the hour is: is this just another ‘military is on maneuvers’ maneuver?
A foreigner’s visit to Taiwan generally involves two things:
1. Flying to Taiwan, and...
2. Departing Taiwan.
hmmmm.... I’m hearing first report (uncorroborated) that Pelousy has departed.
Maybe her mission has been accomplished - stir up the pot to the point of WW3 talk. See if it comes to a rolling boil.
They have been unable to get Russia to attack so it has fallen to provoke war with China.
They need war before the midterms so they can institute legal censorship, round up enemies (not Chinese nationals but you), and have emergency universal mail-in voting.
Something’s about to happen.
Well China has surrounded the Island ..... and closed off the air. ..So might just be sabre rattling....We better hope that’s all it is.
Are tanks still protecting Chinese banks?
I hope you’re right, but with the unpredictable ChiComms, you never know for sure.
Pelosi’s in flight to another Asian nation visit. Leaving Taiwan to deal with China after she’s riled things up. Of course Taiwan went along with the show so whatever does occur here on out they brought on themselves - with Pelosi’s help.
All things being equal, her visit might have been the ‘green light’ for their ‘reunification’.
I doubt that it will come to more than that if they make their move, in particular based upon the administration’s own statements since Monday.
Well the Chinese leadership will not let this ride. They are known to wait patiently for the right moment they act - more times than not unexpectedly.
That’s a long way to go to invade a country with subs and missiles.
China could invade and be done before we ever got there.
Somebody squeezing the Xiamen?
