The Atheist will tell us of all the horror that religion has visited on Mankind and there is some truth to what they say. However they fail to tell us that for each atrocity committed in the name of religion there are other lives given meaning
for existence and comfort in times of trouble. Atheism seeks to affirm the negative and offers little towards enlightenment or comfort for the common masses of man. Atheism is Nihilism. — Captain Compassion.

Real Christian "theocracy" would be built around the beatitudes of the sermon on the mount. Love your neighbor. Sacrifice for them. Give generously. Don't return evil for evil or seek vengeance. Don't lie, cheat or steal, etc. Leftists hate this largely because they have come to define "freedom" as the freedom to do evil and then expect other people to pay for the messes that are created, and kill any inconvenient byproducts of their sin.
