Didn’t watch water world. After his Robin Hood and his Postman...he was ok in Dances with Eoods I think simply because he was playing a character that was just bland and unremarkable in mannerism. And it seems thats just the way he is and he has no particular talent at acting.

I worked and my family were union set guys in Vancouver. The deal is that it’s cheaper to shoot in Canada BUT it’s a 70% canadian union crew, all the time.
The only guy who told the Canadian film sector to F off about this discrepancy was Clint Eastwood when he filmed Unforgiven in Alberta. He brought his guys from Malpaso, his own production co. and the Canadian board made an exception well, because he’s Clint Eastwood.
