Our side lost an incredibly valuable voice in this matter with the death of Michael Crichton. His 2004 novel, "State of Fear," was a highly entertaining deconstruction of the church of global warming...a fictional novel with copious foot notes referencing real studies.

To top it all off, Crichton was a real scientist, a doctor. And while not a climatologist, he certainly understood the application of the scientific method, agenda driven conclusions and then politics behind much of the whole environmental movement.

Yup. I enjoyed his work. Sadly, most of it was closer to reality than I would like.
