Is this Irish bank collapsing also? At least 2 banks in China are collapsing as well as they lock down all depositor funds and protests escalate.
Maybe we need another topic here just for "Collapse".

I’m sure it was.
I tried to make a cash deposit over lunch one day 20 years ago.
Had clients in my SUV
Stopped by a different branch down by where we had eaten.
After 20 minutes I demanded my cash back and made the deposit at my local branch.

I thought so as well; what is the point of money/cash if it can’t be spent?
I still see businesses that stopped accepting cash as an anti-COVID measure keeping it in place; they’ll probably do so until legally forced to accept cash again (which they don’t want).

I had the same issue with a check (drawn on Wells Fargo) paid to me for a job; the issuer reimbursed the fee to me, and I’ll never do it again.
