As the Democratic Party faces a rout in the midterm elections, the 82-year-old lawmaker is desperate to exploit the tentative Taiwan visit at her final moment of being the House Speaker to narrow the gap with Republicans in the elections and influence the US' Taiwan policy, the expert said.
Pelosi is in the presidential line of succession, thus the administration takes extra care of her security when she travels overseas, the White House said on Tuesday, according to CNN.

The U.S. needs to stop sending our demented and cranky old politicians to these other countries and making all of us look like idiots for electing them. Demented Pelosi wants to go to Asia to work up the crowds there and get them all pissed off at SCOTUS over their decision to pull a female’s “Right to murder their babies”. That’s the only reason the ho is going.
What will Brandon do? Not much, but this would be POTENT ammunition for the struggle to hold the control of the House of Representatives, as in Nancy then becoming the “martyr” who died (or may have been taken prisoner) for the “Green New Deal” Democrat Socialist cause.

It occurred to me that a Hawaii stop-over may explain the delay between departure and arrival in Taiwan.
Taiwan is toast. When (not if) China invades, Brandon will do nothing other than read a speech off of his teleprompter scolding China for doing it. China knows this and so does the rest of the world.

You all forget Biden asking if he should take questions and Pelosi saying no.

I have heard a plausible chain of events in this event that makes sense. Pelosi’s office called Biden’s office and told him she was visiting Taiwan. He of course understood what she was doing, so he told her no. She told him ‘up yours’, so his people leaked the information to the press and said the military was against it. So he put her in a box thinking that she would just roll over. My speculation, however, she as a fearless leader, who has risked death on many occasions by either driving herself or riding with her drunk husband, will do what she damn well pleased. The Chinese don’t give a damn either, so they are rattling chains to see which one is the bigger coward..Looking forward to how this rolls out.
He will condemn it in the strongest possible terms.
