Rumble is going to get to discovery in its anti-trust and damages lawsuit against Google. Discovery on Googke’s allegedly manipulated and anti-trust search algorithms. Everyone should appreciate just how huge this is.
Background
Toronto-based video platform Rumble sues Google, accusing tech giant of steering traffic to YouTube
Filing says a Google search for online videos even listed links to YouTube as first results in a search that specified Rumble

Google owns youtube.
I would expect this.
Rumble is a great competitor. I don’t understand why more conservatives don’t upload their stuff to Rumble. I understand they are monetized on YT but if they upload to both more conservatives will find them and eventually they will make more on Rumble as advertisers find them.

Online search helps shapes narratives, politics, businesses and our lives.
Should Rumble get into the search engine business?
from what I can tell so far judging by the hints and tweets, Rumble is going to have:
1) Youtube replacement(check)
2) payment processor to replace Stripe (check)
3) Cloud and web hosting services (just started , 2023 full launch) as an alternative amazon web hosting
4) an ad marketplace hosting on it’s cloud as an alternative to google adsense
5) consumer e-mail as an alternative to gmail, hotmail, etc
6) search engine
7) and of course the infrastructure to power Truth Social and perhaps a Netflix alternative from TrumpMedia
I don’t’ remember ever finding a link to rumble on Google.
I am a big supporter of Rumble. I can even watch RT live if i wanted and its my go to for discussions banned about Coronavirus, election fraud et al
John Rich just proved you can go to number one in downloads just using Rumble and Truth social for a song the establishment never would have allowed
They are slowly building the right way and it does take time, but its nice to have alternatives that harken back to the old internet -an old school search engine would be great

Discovery
The next word to be redefined.
What does ‘get to discovery’ mean?
“they will make more on Rumble as advertisers find them.”
I personally know 2 youtube “stars” who make money off Youtube. They’re conservatives. One of them experimented by just posting “no voice” videos (hid his true name) and he makes money off Rumble monetization. Just a little $$ but it works. He just feels weird that Rumble posts the amount of $$ the uploader made on their videos lol
Usually nothing. Everyone’s like ‘lets get to discovery’ then nothing really notable ever comes out.
He needs to let them know that. We really have to stop funding the people who hate us. The quicker we get away from the sewers of Twitter and YouTube the better.
I love Truth Social, it’s growing every day.

——-/
That’s up to the uploader , if you chose to make that public you get 5 percent more of the cut
The uploader gets 60 percent of the ad revenue so 65 percent if the revenue is Public
thnx for the info. I think he figured it out later, but not sure. He was freaking out why at first, it says “$121” under the video after he let it run for a few days.
somehow, DJT is involved in planning this....
btw, the Brave browser offers its own search engine as an option (the default search engine is easy to alter in Settings).
e.g.:
https://search.brave.com/search?q=videos
After reading about the Facebook experiments and remembering how many people committed suicide during those days… this should only be the beginning.
