The truant officer at our school in the 70’s lost his son in Vietnam. He was an advisor in the late 50’s.

A shame. A lot of sacrifice and a lot of service from those good people-——for an ungrateful (mostly) nation. Thank goodness some of that was countered later but it was wrong for a long time.
