- Wages and salaries climbed 1.4% and benefit costs increased 1.2% during the second quarter.
- Compensation costs for civilian workers rose 5.1% for the year ended June, up from +3.2% for the year ended June 2021. Among private industry occupational group, compensation cost for the 12-month period ended June ranged from +4.3% for natural resources, construction, and maintenance occupations to +8.0% for service occupations.
