I saw nothing in that article, nor have I seen anywhere that the current amount of CO2 is absorbing ALL of the energy available to be absorbed.
The potential amount of energy is massive.

That is indeed a massive amount of energy, but only a fraction of that energy is in the wavelengths that CO2 can absorb.
