Oxygen breathers require the services of green plants to convert CO2 into free oxygen. Green plants can not survive if CO2 drops below 150 PPM. The point where CO2 becomes toxic to humans is around 2000 PPM. Atmospheric CO2 measured in my backyard runs around 420 PPM.
