The people who really run the United States of America have made it clear that they can’t, and won’t, if they can help it, allow Donald Trump to be president again. In fact, they made this clear in 2020, in a series of public statements. Simply for quoting their words in an essay for The American Mind, I was mercilessly mocked and attacked. But they were quite clear. Trump won’t be president at noon, Jan. 20, 2021, even if we have to use the military to drag him out of there.But
If the regime felt that strongly back then, imagine how they feel now. But you don’t have to imagine. They tell you every day. Liz Cheney, Trump’s personal Javert, has said that the 45th president is literally the greatest threat facing America today—greater than China, than our crashing economy, than our unraveling civil society.
That’s rhetoric, of course, but it isn’t merely that. It’s safer, and generally more accurate, to assume that your adversaries mean what they say. If you doubt this, ask yourself: When was the last time they acted more moderately than they talk?
Even if it is just rhetoric, the words nonetheless portend turbulence. “He who says A must say B.” The logic of statement A inevitably leads to action B, even if the speaker of A didn’t really mean it, or did mean it, but still didn’t want B. Her followers won’t get the irony and, enthused by A, will insist on B.
Take some time to listen to the mainstream media. It doesn’t have to be long; five minutes should do. Then spend another five or so reading the statements of prominent politicians other than Trump. To round it out, sacrifice another five on leading intellectuals.

Michael Anton is correct, the ruling class cannot, at all cost allow Donald Trump back in the White House.
The days of this ‘ruling oligarchy’ are numbered. They were safe from the wrath of the citizenry while they stayed in the shadows and it wasn’t apparent how much disdain they have for the will of the citizenry. They could manipulate things from behind the curtain, even if they had a well known public persona, because most of us believed in our form of government and the sanctity of our republic.
It has since become increasingly apparent that there truly is an oligarchy who feel entitled to dictate how the rest of us will live. There really are people that arrogant, deceitful, duplicitous, and entitled.
The robber barons didn’t last. The current version of wannabe robber barons won’t either.
That so many are so willing to participate in destroying PT and our country is shocking. “Return to Me and I will return and heal your land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 comes to mind.
He won in 2020. What good did it do us.

He needs to take hold of the military and use them to police the purge of the CIA DOJ homeland security and the FBI for starters or this will never go away

Ironically, this was exactly how the U.S. was designed to function. This country was never supposed to be a “democracy,” and anyone who disagrees with that statement should just ask himself a simple question:
Do you think founders of this country like Washington, Jefferson and Madison would have ever considered establishing a system of government in which their interests could be undermined by their own hired help?

The fact is, that the ruling oligarchy doesn’t want Trump. It’s not Trump that is the problem, he’s just an old Democrat. They admit it’s Trump’s base. Everyone stop and think, “What does Trump’s base want from Government?”
They, the people want to have control of government. Why? Because they feel that government does not serve them. That government takes their money, enslaves them, and forces things upon them. That the government does not act legally or does it respect their Constitutional rights to self determination, prosperity, and self defense. They feel that there exists overwhelming evidence of government corruption, even into the law enforcement areas, and beyond that even steals away democratic process by voter fraud.
Trump wants to return that to them. He wants them to have freedom, prosperity, democracy. Trump had a plan to remove the graft and the partisan elements. Trump has a plan that gives control of government back to the people. The Government is having none of that.
That’s the conflict. That’s why they attack Trump. It is not ethereal, it’s cold hard reality that the Government and the Government Unions for which it stands do NOT want to answer to the people.
The government, and it’s Democrat political party, will DO anything to prevent the public from understanding that it does not want to answer to the public anymore. Absolutely, we are on a crazy train to a bad place because voter civil rights have been ignored, even by the SCOTUS. God help us all.
