Will Merrick Garland show the same prudence as his predecessor and appoint a special counsel to investigate his boss’s family?
Recent developments warrant the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden, former Attorney General William Barr says.
“[I]ntervening events, especially recent reports about FBI whistleblowers and the possible reach of the investigation, warrant adding the protections of special counsel status to assure that key decisions are made independently without political ‘favor,’” Barr told The Federalist.
President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has been under federal investigation since 2018 for issues related to his foreign business practices, including obtaining investments and board positions from politically compromised figures in communist China and other trouble spots. Multiple U.S. attorney’s offices were tasked with components of the investigation, with the Delaware office being the lead. Hunter Biden’s problems became much more public with the news that he had left a laptop full of incriminating information at a computer repair store in Delaware. That news was then suppressed by Democrat-allied intelligence officials falsely claiming it was Russian disinformation.

Barr, you had your chance to do the right thing. YOU had the laptop, checked into the FBI a year before the election. You had the former crime fighter who controlled New York, and became mayor, tell you there was a problem.
You did nothing. Just like you watched State Legislatures laws for elections be ignored and allowed a roomful of DOJ and FBI employees constantly investigate your Boss for nothing, just looking for leverage.

Your boys over at the FIB had Hunter’s laptop when Trump was being impeached over a phone call with Zelensky the A**kisser in the Ukraine ... where the Xiden family corruptly enriched itself. The FIB sat on the laptop, and still does to this day, ... you all let Trump flail in the wind ... you know, especially keeping out exculpatory evidence.

Cabinet appointments must be confirmed by the Senate. Presidents do not have full say on who will be in their cabinet. This largely due to the personnel and budgets they control.
Trump did have full say on who to select for advisors. His advisor picks were extremely capable and loyal to the vision of MAGA. Dr. Peter Navarro is an example.
He is a fraud who failed to investigate Biden and voter fraud.

Gosh, seems to me the guy who was AG back in October to December of 2020 could have done this himself.
Barr had access to this information years ago. Why didn’t he appoint a special counsel if he didn’t want to appear biased? His protests to AG Garland sound weak. He knows Garland isn’t going to do anything unless the DS bigwigs give him the o.k.
Now he is trying to salvage any shred of credibility with his sideline commentary- like that is supposed to fool us. He recently appeared on the Gutfeld show. That is where compromised RINO's come to do their PR.
