Christine is good for Florida and Desantis the way Kelly McEnany was good for the USA and Trump.

When DeSantis is elected (either in 2024 if Trump doesn’t run or 2028 if he does), I look forward to Christina Pushaw shutting down the disinformation media. It will be fun to watch.
I know his health Secretary is supposed to be outstanding-—how is the rest of his crew?
Reagan was hit or miss-—I think his Supreme Court picks were representative—Scalia, (elevating) Rhenquist, O’Connor, Kennedy. Biggest miss was Bush.
I don’t know history well enough to point out an individual and say that he excelled Reagan. I’m sure there have been governors that have done better-—but one has to work with the bench one has.
That said, if DeSantis Secretary of Health is typical, then the guy is crackerjack.
It'll be smooth sailing for DeSantis and his people until the Media and the Left decide to implement the Trump "Destroy Them, Their Lives and Their Families" protocol on the DeSantis camp.
Then we'll see what he's made of.

Christina is way way better. McEnay had as her deputy the Farah lady who is now making a living bashing Trump. McEnany had Trump holding press conferences with Fauci and Scarf every day. McEnany also continued the practice of daily briefings with Trump-hating White House correspondents who spent the time shouting angry gotcha questions.
Cristina doesn’t give leftist media that kid of attention and credibility. She shuts them out instead of inviting them in. She doesn’t hire people who aren’t loyal to Desantis and his agenda. She is the new model for a savvy effective MAGA spokesperson. Desantis is great at hiring talented loyal people.
We can’t afford another episode of “Trump and his terrible, awful, horrible hires”

I remember when Clinton lied to Congress and they had him by the balls. I was so pumped for this obvious slam dunk. Then I happened to hear a Sunday morning talk show with mealy-mouthed Trent Lott blabbering incoherently about why they weren’t going to remove him from office. I realized then the fix is in. Let’s hope in the new generation.

The difference is, Desantis doesn’t hire disloyal people who would help the media undermine him. Trump hired mostly disloyal RINOs, so he was extremely vulnerable to the lefts “destroy Trump” attacks, because he had surrounded himself with traitors. We can’t have another four years of that kind of incompetent hiring

WaPo conveniently omits the fact that this law referred to children from preschool to second grade. They are so dishonest.
All these Freepers who say Desantis will stumble when he’s attacked by the left like trump is. —- they fail to mention that trump hired people who hated him and his agenda, so he didn’t have a team to defend him against the lefts attacks
Unlike Trump, Desantis seems to be smart and careful in hiring. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t waste time on twitter, but uses his time effectively like a serious, mature leader ought to do?
