Chinese investors bought $6.1billion worth of property in the US between April 2021 to April 2022, a report by The National Association of Realtors (NAR) revealed.
Florida ties with Indiana for the third hottest pick with the Chinese. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, 43, called a 'huge problem.'
'I don't think they should be able to do it. I think the problem is these companies have ties to the CCP, and it's not always apparent on the face of whatever a company is doing,' he told Fox News' Laura Ingraham earlier this week.

The Sunshine State reached its 14th consecutive year as the top pick for foreign buyers.
DeSantis shares similar views to countries, such as New Zealand, Australia, and Canada, which have imposed taxes on foreigner buyers purchasing property.
New Zealand, where Chinese investment has been blamed for a huge spike in home property prices, now charges a 15 percent tax to non-resident buyers. Australia imposes a 12.6 percent tax on any foreign buyer purchasing a home valued higher than $750,000 and have been since 2017. And in Canada, the government takes 50 percent of any sale as a withholding tax.
The US, however, does not impose tax restraints on foreign buyers, according to the Wharton Business Journal of UPenn.

The same survey showed that 52 per cent of Chinese people intend to use their US homes as a primary residence - .....

My niece, from Taiwan, lives in Irvine CA. She is an accountant and had a niche business doing tax for Chinese who have purchased houses there and then rent them out. She says the typical scenario is the Chinese family will buy a house in Irvine so their children can live in it while attending college. Then they rent it out afterwards, or until another child needs it.
The Democratic Party in San Francisco is financed and essentially controlled by the Chinese community. Its leaders are in turn very much intertwined with the Chinese communists. People see San Francisco and think it is gay dominated. The real power is held by the Chinese community.

It looks like what hasn’t been sold has been leased. At least.
The Chinese are already well on their way to buying up nearly all of Queens, NY and Brooklyn’s not far behind. It was obvious to me that a lot of the buyers were being bankrolled. You had shabbily dressed Chinese who barely spoke any English offering to buy your condo, co-op, or house for cash, often from a large grocery bag. Where were people like that getting that kind of money? The Chinese churches were the money laundering centers to distribute CCP money to homebuyers. By the time I left NYC, apartments in my Queens co-op complex (over 900 units) were mostly owned by Chinese. They were very aggressive buyers, coming up to peoples’ doors. knocking, and asking, “You know apartment for sale?” When a unit came up for sale, all you’d see would be Chinese buyers. I foresaw the kosher groceries and some of the synagogues in the neighborhood closing due to dwindling Jewish population, and massage parlors and non-kosher Chinese restaurants opening up.
