US military to treat wounded Ukrainian troops at Landstuhl hospital

The U.S. military is now offering medical care to wounded Ukrainian troops at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, the premier American hospital in Europe, Military Times has learned.

Landstuhl is the largest American-run hospital outside of the U.S. and the only such facility in Europe that offers a full range of specialty care.

That is top notch health care. We shouldn’t be doing this. If we wanted to help we could set up a couple of field hospitals close by in neighboring countries but that’s as far as I would go. Treating Ukraine troops at Landsthule is too much.

How many more ways can the US Government get us involved in this war? I never imagined that we’d be picking up the tab for treating the Ukrainian wounded.
