Former President Donald Trump Saturday hinted at a 2024 presidential run in a speech full of culture war rhetoric and attacks on his political enemies, including President Biden, the January 6 Committee and more.
(snip)
Teasing his own possible 2024 run, Trump said Saturday that he won the 2016 election, falsely claimed he won the 2020 election, and said, "now we may just have to do it again."
"If I stayed home, if I announced that I was not going to run for office, the persecution of Donald Trump would immediately stop," Trump also said later in the speech. "But that's what they want me to do. And you know what? There's no chance I do that."
(snip)
"Across the United States, we need to implement strict prohibitions on teaching inappropriate racial, sexual, and political material to America's children in any form," he said.
(snip)
Trump closed his speech with more apparent hinting at another presidential run, saying that with Biden's presidency, his reelection slogan of "keep America great," is now outdated. But, Trump said, "we will make America great again."

Don’t ya’ just love how these northeast media slugs try to cleverly insert the “ false claims on the 2020 election results “ into their “ news “ stories ?
And, they can’t understand why only 28 % of their target audience believes them.
Yep. FOX is no friend to Trump or MAGA.
That’s Fox for you. Look for these media hacks to try to fabricate a Trump v DiSantis controversy to drive ratings and to weaken Trump. They’ll try to make it as easy as possible to rob him again on election night 2024.
He’s been saying the same thing for months.
Go ahead FOX. Bring Dinesh on your show and make a complete fool of him. Oh, you won’t? Why? Because you all know that YOU would all be exposed as frauds! “Falsely” my a$$.
I would have to watch the speech, but at least in how it is reported, it seems like possibly less focus on 2020 and more forward-looking thoughts.
To me, the key reason (besides trying to fix the actual rigging of the 2020 election) of talking about what happened in 2020 was to make sure voters and the GOP itself did not look as Trump as a political “loser” moving forward. Someone who did not deserve the nomination once again. Someone like Romney after 2012.
It looks like mission accomplished. Trump is well ahead of the field in national polls and, I think, has a real chance to announce before the midterms. He’s set himself up to be the nominee once more.
I hope he never stops talking about 2020 and he can talk about it as much as he wants. But with the nomination looking in good shape for him, he can also afford to talk about other subjects, too. Like how horrible a job Biden is doing.
My goodness he’s going to run. Stop with the freaking guessing game. Stop sucking up bandwidth with all the bs.

Agreed. Sad that I despise Brit Hume these days. I don’t watch Fox anymore but I saw some of his anti Trump tweets recently.
Agreed on Hume. Sad to see.
I’m surprised it’s that high. But you know, pubic schools.....
Sad that Fox has given up on what made them great. I like Talk Radio but the half hour breaks for Fox ‘News’ usually has me shutting off the Radio to avoid getting me angry with the obvious propaganda.
“falsely claimed he won the 2020 election”
Stopped reading right there.

Time for the fiery cross, brother.
A true believer, your types are what drives 99% of the GOP and independents away from Trump. This fire and brimstone talk and how Trump didn’t lose, is what’s going to get another dem in 2024, probably newsom. Hope that’ll be worth it.
