OFFS. The only invasion of Cuba was in 1961 at the Bay of Pigs, and the US government had washed its hands of the operation beforehand. And that had nothing to do with Cuba “importing missiles.”
You are obviously alluding to the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. Cuba wasn’t “importing” the missiles; the Soviets were bringing them in for their own purposes, to be under Soviet command and control. We did NOT invade Cuba in response. We initiated an embargo by sea of any offensive nuclear weapons, or assets or components or materiel for same.
Yeah right, I still remember there was fear of WWIII starting due to invading Cuban ports.
