Mark Aungst, who was facing up to six months in prison and a $5,000 fine, killed himself on July 20, according to his obituary.
Aungst was among the many Jan. 6 demonstrators caught up in a protracted legal process stemming from the chaos of that day. He had pled guilty to a charge of demonstrating or parading in a restricted building and was due to be sentenced in September.
The deceased reportedly walked through the Capitol building taking photographs during the incident.

Dude.
Put the liquor down.
There is no more I wish to say.
Still talking to yourself?
The paramedics are waiting for your call. Don’t make them wait too long!
Pactice, practice, practice…
I AGREE. We keep getting donation requests. never again. Straight to the candidate, I choose.
How do you know if he could have done anything?
We don’t know what all can be done.
How many of us really know government laws?
I’ll leave this thread with one final thought:
Anyone who bothers to read our exchanges will see that I laid out my position meticulously and clearly, and that you have been reduced to cucking like a chicken.
When you sober up, maybe you owe a few amends.
I didn’t say he couldn’t afford it. And how do we know he isn’t helping? Big ars assumption as to whether he is or isn’t helping. Hell, he has mounds of evidence concerning the election, yet oddly enough, not one court or judge or whatever, wants to see it. He could spend a gazillion dollars, and, in my opinion, it wouldn’t change a thing.
I take your point.
Thanks for your polite response.
Say, whatever happened to Drew68? He started the attack on Trump and then waited around for it to devolve into fighting amongst ourselves, then disappeared. His last post on this thread was at 3:30 pm, but he was active for another couple of hours after that. He’s pushing DeSantis in 2024 in case you hadn’t noticed, so I sense an ulterior motive...and we fell for it again.
Trump never laid out a plan to break into the Capitol building. As a matter of fact, it all started while Trump was still speaking, and AJ was down in that area warning people to stay away. The guards opened the gates and some people acted badly, made graffiti and broke things. While the po po were busy killing two women.
Well of course. Weren't you polite? I return like for like. :^)
The man that murdered Ashley Babbit must be charged and brought before the court.
For those of us who are pro-law enforcement, difficult to be in this case as the background on this shooting stinks to high heaven.
Abraham Lincoln blanket pardoned every Confederate Soldier after the civil war. He didnt know their names.
Heartfelt and well said.
May God protect us in our battle on earth against these demonic forces on the Left.
Trump had no idea what they'd even be charged with. Did ya want Trump to wave a magic wand and pardon hundreds of people, where he had no idea what the charges would be? Just blanket pardon everyone, before any investigation, arrests, or charges being filed?
Ya really think someone capable of critical thought would do that?
C'mon
Why not? They were never charged with anything anyway
Lincoln’s pardon of confederate soldiers was not a blanket pardon. It was conditional and specific.
Lincoln’s pardons were made to known soldiers and political leaders of the confederacy SPECIFIC TO TREASON.
Furthermore, Lincoln started his pardons in 1863, two years before the conclusion of the war. There was ample time to understand all the who and what of the conflict, whereas Trump had 14 days while in the middle of vacation the WH.
There are plenty more differences in detail between Lincoln and Trump in the matter of pardons for Insurrectionists. Trump was never contemplating a matter of militants leading an insurrection..
In short, your reference to Lincoln in an attempt to fault Trump is feeble.
