Mark Aungst, who was facing up to six months in prison and a $5,000 fine, killed himself on July 20, according to his obituary.
Aungst was among the many Jan. 6 demonstrators caught up in a protracted legal process stemming from the chaos of that day. He had pled guilty to a charge of demonstrating or parading in a restricted building and was due to be sentenced in September.
The deceased reportedly walked through the Capitol building taking photographs during the incident.

I’m guessing here but from a legal standpoint of he were yo get involved given what is going on with the J6 Committee it would harm him and the J6 defendents. It would cause the corrupt judges and the juries to treat them more harshly and might even lead to convictions. It’s just my opinion but I think Trump is concerned but has been advised to keep his distance.

Last I checked, he's raised a quarter billion dollars under the "Stop the Steal" banner and, as far as I can tell, has not spent a single penny on the legal defense for any of these folks, his strongest supporters, who are languishing in jail and facing way disproportionate sentences. It goes without saying, he could've pardoned every last one of them before he left office.
