How much of this is nefarious? And how much is individual Chinese just looking for a safe haven before the next inevitable upheaval?

Should also ban people moving to Florida. Florida is being cut and cleared daily. Nothing will be left of a once beautiful state.

1. They can’t take it home
2. Using zoning and environmental laws we can make their property is worthless

China has bought a lot of land around secret military bases in the Dakotas.

This is the Chinese way of conquering a land.

On the other hand, every Chinese citizen with any means wants a foot outside China - property, a foreign passport, a child in university in the USA or Australia, etc.... Buying up property under the guise of "foreign investment" is also how Chinese companies (and rich politicians) get money out of China.

So the CCP which doesn’t believe in private property for its subjects is buying private property. Clearly demonstrating their knowledge of the advantages of a free society they strongly prevent their own ‘subjects’ or serfs from participating in.

As opposed to Deseret buying massive amount of the lands? Everything around me, for miles around, is owned by Deseret and is being cleared.

CCP already owns about half Texas. When I sold my home in 2016 in N TX I had five bidders all offering over asking price. Four of the five were straw buyers for Chinese nationals.

Rich Chinese moving their money out of commie hell. We shouldn’t let it happen. Rather the CCP should have to answer to its people for why they want to leave. Just makes for a more corrupt CCP like it does in Mexico/latin America. Those dumps would be a lot less corrupt if we closed the southern border.

Why are we selling anything to them to begin with?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Answer seems obvious to me: Our Congress, House and Senate, has for years been composed of self-serving criminals and anti-American traitors. Otherwise legislation would have been enacted decades ago making the purchase of any real property by foreign governments or foreign nationals subject to the Eminent domain power of the government to take private property as defined by the Fifth Amendment.

We have enough laws on the books to ban/bar anything they wish to do. I’m more worried about our government than the Chinese.

Florida residents/homeowners constantly get phone calls from people who say they want to buy their homes. I suspect many are working for foreign buyers.

I am impressed with his actions. I love living here in Florida. Actors and long time politicians are usually more impressive in speeches.

China holds massive amounts of U.S. debt. They’re just exchanging worthless dollars for tangible assets.
Looks like the joke is on us.

Same thing is happening in NYC. When you have a property for sale in Queens, ONLY Chinese show up to look at it. From time to time, Chinese would knock on neighbors’ doors and ask if they know of any homes for sale, just like that. They were taking over entire neighborhoods in Queens and starting on Brooklyn when I left NYC a couple years ago. It was sort of “strange” to see people who dressed like people who were not well off offering to pay cash for what they bought, with bags of greenbacks or checks. I heard that the Chinese churches were money laundering CCP money and then distributing it to not well off Chinese to enable them to buy properties.
