the US would go into a “deep and immediate recession” and face great security risks if it lost access to the island nation’s chips

This shows you the genius of geopolitcal strategic understanding in our national security apparatus starting starting with GW Bush's NWO.

These globalist fools want to fight a war over Ukraine - a place where we have not stake except for the deep state losing its money laundering machine- and declare the Russian State an enemy that needs to be broken up and disremembered and digested by globalist financial elite. And they ignored China. And what they are going to get is ruin of the US. This is why we had a cold war with Russia, and why we need to pivot our posture to China and make clear that they are a threat to our way of life - it is their declared strategy - and as such our posture has changed and they better hope nothing happens to trigger a response that will ruin everything they stand for. We survived a 50 year cold war with the SU like that and we can do it again.

Of course that means that our side needs to stand for our side which is freedom and adherence to our constitution. Since our side doesn't want to do that the gravest threat to a free people are the idiots in our own house.

Some estimates are 1,400 chips per car. Without chips, automakers won’t be able to collect monthly fees from you for such “advanced” things as heated seats.

Since Taiwan has begun manufacturing chips in the USA, this article is bloviating drivel

Buy your Microchip stock now. Their foundries are here in the US.

They begin moving equipment into the site next year, with first production planned for 1Q2024.

See TSMC Fab 21 at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_semiconductor_fabrication_plants

It looks like capacity in terms of 300 mm wafers/month is smaller that other newer TSMC fabs.
