President Biden made a previously unscheduled appearance Friday afternoon as part of an apparent effort by the administration to demonstrate that he remains healthy enough to lead the nation during his second day of treatment for COVID-19.
Biden, 79, gave a thumbs-up as reporters shouted questions about how he was feeling — moments after emitting a phlegmy cough as White House economist Cecilia Rouse spoke.
Reporters were allowed into the afternoon event in the White House-adjacent Eisenhower Executive Office Building on short notice to see Biden speak about gas prices via video feed from the second-floor White House residence

First Biden announced that he had cancer and the stock market went up. Then he announced that he had covid and the market kept going up. Then they announce that he’s not in danger of dieing and the stock market dropped and gas prices went up. Lol
I wonder if Brandon will be able to escape the WH this weekend for his customary “chemical re-charge” at the beachfront place in Delaware?
They showed him pictures of little girls. You can see his eyes really light up when he sees one.
That video they showed yesterday of him saying he had Covid was obviously pre-recorded for such an eventuality. Show him holding today’s newspaper and I’ll believe it.
That video of Biden at the white house was fake as hell. No way that guy who has been stumbling around, shaking hands with ghosts, falling over, and mumbling incoherently got COVID and suddenly became articulate and energetic.
Reporters were allowed into the afternoon event.
