Is the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi trying to generate sympathy for herself, saying her plane is at risk for downing by the Communist China for visiting Taiwan? This in view of all the negative press concerning her husband's huge stock trades based on her insider knowledge of coming legislation affecting the stock market?

Seriously, any attempt to shoot down the American Speaker of the House, second in line to the President, flying in a U.S. Air Force plane would be an act of war. She knows this, our military knows this and the Red Chinese know this as well. If Pelosi is trying to come up with an excuse not to visit the Republic of China she needs to come up with something else.
