And just who is responsible for clearing all the UKE mines in the harbor?

I was expecting they would simply take Odessa and make it all a moot point.

True, but why fight them when you can get them to work for you?

This also signals that your scumbag Russian friends have given up on blockading Odessa.

Because they can’t.

One dimensional Clown- Russia did not win. This is an agreement between Russia and Ukraine to allow Ukrainian wheat and more to be shipped out to a hungry world. Most likely via Odessa.

If nothing else, the Rus were shamed into stopping their blockade of Ukraine grain exports. Gobo homo Putin cares about his worldwide image.

That sanction thing? It’s over. I understand the Russians will pay the Zelenskites minimum wage with a promise of naturalization if they behave.

Why on earth would the Ukraine need Russia's permission to move their own wheat and grain??

There was worldwide revulsion at the Rus blockade of food to hungry nations. Putin had to yield to the pressure. Putin cares about his image, same as Hitler did. No tyrant exists in a vacuum. They all want to be loved and/or feared.

There are mines that have to be cleared and Russian warships have to get out of the way of international grain commerce.

This worldwide revulsion you speak of is limited to Biden's Liberal World Order, not the BRICS nations. Speaking of Biden's Liberal World Order, are there any other policies you agree with him on besides his warmongering?

The Ukrainians will clear the mines, besides this is about getting paid and the collapse of the sanctions.

I believe w lot of Russia’s third world client states buy Ukrainian wheat and weren’t too happy facing the future food riots from their starving citizens so Russia caved in.

That’s right. With the latest anti-ship missiles and Russian naval losses, they can’t afford anymore ship losses.

Hopefully this agreement is good news. I doubt that it is likely to be the basis of peace, as I doubt that Putin will pack up his Army and go home. I also doubt the Ukes want to give up their gas and oil resources, and Europe probably agrees with them even if they don’t shout it from the rooftops. This will be welcome news for a number of third world countries, and some of the BRIC countries have enough very poor people that the pressure on basic food prices should be a welcome possibility.

A separate story about Chechens, some in Ukraine and possibly 2 other groups in Chechnia, wanting to fight Putin is an interesting development. Putin has been using Muslim and assorted non Russian ethnic groups to save from having to force ethnic Russians to be his cannon fodder. Who knows where these acts of his may lead?

Between sinking Russia’s biggest ship on the Black Sea, and retaking Snake Island, Ukraine stopped Russias attemmpt to seize Odessa. Russia was probably getting a lot of negative press from starving third world countries about its cruel decision sequestering Ukraine’s grain stores. Here us Al Jazeera’s report on this newly signed grain export accord:
