Daily Caller co-founder and Fox News host Tucker Carlson may have dealt a death blow to former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley’s presidential hopes Friday in Iowa.
Tucker first made the statements about Haley during his keynote speech at the Family Leadership Summit in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday night.
“We spoke about some of the politicians who should not be running the country. We were pretty specific about it,” Tucker reiterated on his Monday night show, a clip of which was shared on Twitter.
“I’ll never forget it as long as I live,” Tucker told the audience in Iowa, before quoting Haley’s statements after George Floyd’s death and the subsequent riots that overtook many American cities in 2020. “And then she said, ‘in order for healing to occur, what happens next must be personal and painful for everyone.'”

To answer the headline’s question. No. Nikki never had a hope in hell. Tucker is just stating the obvious.

Was hilarious with Tucker coming oh so close to calling her out as a RINO too.
Tucker Carlson is apparently popular right now, but I never watch TV shows on any regular basis. I don’t even have a TV.
I may see a YouTube or Twitter snippet here and there if he makes news that week.
In other words, I don’t think Tucker’s influence is as strong as many think it is. He is off course, entitled to his opinion. His primary goal as a talk show host is to entertain you or worry you, otherwise keep you watching.
I went through near the same learning curve with Sean Hannity a long time ago.
Everyone in political speak is the serfs, not the elites. They need to visit pain upon the the serfs for the actions of the elites.
She said and did other things such as some monument being removed. Any others? It’s hard to believe some people cannot read the tea leaves. Pence for example.
Pence is done. He should work for the party. Several one-on-one debates on one issue at a time with all democrat POTUS wannabes. Start with AOC. Howard Dean once did it with the Colorado Governor-forgot his name. Arguments were not political.
Nikki is a reflexive establishment flak/hack. Her reflexes got the better of whatever political sense she might have. How could she think she was helping any political ambitions she has by saying we all need to experience pain because of / to atone for the Floyd incident? Her rhetoric would help her in a Demcratic primary, but can only hurt her prospects with GOP voters. Either she’s a stupid/low IQ person, or she was signaling that she’ll be switching parties and challenging Biden for the Dem nomination.

That’s not the point. Tucker dredged up a devastatingly stupid and evil quote by Haley. It can be used against her in campaign ads and by opponents in primary debates. In other words, Tucker has killed her candidacy with his lethal opposition research. Her comment is what will do her in, not Tuckers ratings
When the pressure builds, when push comes to shove, they buckle away from common sense and toward being woke.
