Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District officials on Monday, July 18 put off consideration of a contract with Planned Parenthood to operate a health clinic at John Glenn High School in Norwalk but that didn’t prevent more than 100 ant-abortion activists from gathering at the meeting to protest the idea.
The contract, which was to have been part of an unspecified grant from Los Angeles County, called for services relating to “reproductive health,” but neither abortion or gender reassignment were included in the proposal.
District officials before the meeting put out a statement saying discussion of the proposal would be postponed.
“We chose not to move forward at this point in time,” Superintendent John Lopez said during a break in the meeting.
Lopez added that “unless he hears otherwise, I don’t plan on bringing this back.”

Hope they keep on it... the board is just waiting until the uproar dies down enough so that they can sneak in the approval vote.

Yes, what of this “gender reassignment” issue? Isn’t is considered “transphobic” to NOT include that issue? Since we are supposed to be “inclusive” nowadays??? Inclusive often being a code word to bring in homosexuality, gender dysphoria, and God knows what else???
La Mirada is next to Buena Park...Very close to Orange County...Many Korean immigrants live in La Mirada...
If PP gets a foothold just for "reproductive health" then they will eventually conduct abortions and administer gender reassignment drugs.

John Glenn High is not a “great school”...This school is not in some “nice” neighborhood...It is right off the 5 Freeway...
