The Republican National Committee (RNC) has recently sent out a press release calling Florida gubernatorial candidate, Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) the “Joe Biden of Florida.” Rep.Crist, who has a longer political career than his Democratic primary opponent Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried (D-FL), is known by most as the establishment candidate. Crist also served as Governor of Florida (as a Republican) and has been in politics since becoming a state senator in 1993.

President Joe Biden (D) has been in the public eye for a long time as well – 50 years in fact – after being elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972.

Julia Friedland, the Florida Communications Director for the RNC writes in the press release a not-so-fond comparison between the two men.

“Over the many years of their failed careers, where their paths have crisscrossed on multiple occasions, Charlie Crist and Joe Biden have bonded over shared interests: being fake, ineffective and flip-flopping on every issue under the sun. Despite their years-long bromance, Charlie Crist is now trying to distance himself from his “great” friend Joe Biden who he has such “love” for: One month into Joe Biden’s term, Crist said Biden ‘will end up going down in history as one of the best we’ve ever had.’”

After changing parties, Crist is now flip-flopping against the party’s leader that welcomed him in 2012.

Just a reminder that Mitch McConnell wanted Crist in the Senate.

Mitch McConnell's preferred candidates either vote like Democrats or actually BECOME Democrats (Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist).

McConnell’s preferred candidates are all Assistant Democrats.

He would prefer they keep the R jersey on to fool the rubes, like Flimsey Grahamnesty does.

At the time, it was Marco Rubio who arose up and challenged Crist, he was an unknown former Speaker of the Florida House from Miami who no one gave a chance to win, when Rubio won the establishment corrupted him in short order, he’s up for reelection this fall against a black female from Orlando, who was a police chief in Orlando.

“Just a reminder McConnell wanted Crist in the Senate.”

That was in 2009 when Crist was the republican governor and only declared senate candidate. After the Obama embrace and Rubio coming on scene he changed.

Even though Rubio has been a disappointment, I would still support him over Crist like I did in 2010.

Rubio will get re-elected rather easily this cycle.

RNC Tags Crist as the 'Joe Biden of Florida' (but he was Mitch McConnell's preferred man in 2010)

Mitchie McConnell, longtime senate drinking buddy of Joe the Imbecile, is the "Joe Biden of Kentucky".

He didn’t change. He merely swayed with the wind.

He [Crist] was McConnell’s man in more ways than one.
