They can at least make noise, provide leadership, and be visible and thorough opposition. Kari Lake is a terrific example. My wife said last night, “I really like her style and calm.” She isn’t even governor and the establishment hates her.
The GOP needs to cover the bases to oppose this stuff. Show some spunk. Don’t just roll over. And to make it worse too many of them act like sleeper cells when the Democrats need them for gun bills, etc...

Diesel is $2.00 more then reg fuel here in north Florida. Not going to help with other prices. Never understood the bigger difference.

Well I would agree with you that the Republicans have been mostly silent on this issue, and should definitely not have been, there is precious little that they can do when they don’t control the presidency, the House, or the Senate. They can’t even put a bill to a floor vote in the House unless Nancy Pelosi allows it. So what do you realistically expect them to do, besides make noise, without at least some Dem support?

My diesel only gets about 24mpg. But, I don’t care. In fact, I love the high gas prices. Every day my stupid neighbors who voted for Biden can remember the gas prices and energy independence with Trump in the WH and swallow that bile they have from it. I hope it goes higher. And, I want every one of them to get an EV and install a 50kw charger in their garages.
