“Biden won’t be the nominee” is more like wishful thinking that Bill O’Reilly does. Joe is not quitting. He is the perfect puppet & stooge for the people actually running the country. They will not give that up. But Trump does better aginst Kamala. Newsom or anyone else on the left won’t beat a drugged up Biden with the incumbancy. Barring something tragic, Biden will be the nominee. Trump will be the nominee.
Zero chance of that. Reagan was broadly popular across a wide swath of the country. The demographics of the country are much different than they were in 84. Also, the young vote has flipped from actually supporting Reagan, to being consistently left wing.
No chance any Republican will get near that for the foreseeable future.

I was responding to someone who was arguing the poll was a good sign for Trump, so clearly they accepted the result as having merit. If you want to argue that the poll is unreliable junk, that's fine by me. I'm simply pointing out that if someone does believe the poll, a 5% lead ain't very good.

Not much we can do about that. But, keep that in mind when people are rallying around Trump. We must be able to make those close states flip. I don’t think Trump will be able to do that.
