Plant proteins? What the hell is wrong with those people? Just skip straight to bugs!
When sailors go to the mess deck for midrats, they want real double sliders with cheese & fries, not some fake meat-like product made of vegetables or bugs. There never has been a mutiny on a U.S. Navy ship. This just might do it.
Just another recruitment hinderance.
remember when they were all excited about “pink slime”? meet the new slime, natural will not be on the label.
The Navy is know for decent grub, but I’m not sure how well that stuff will be very good mass produced.
Though I have to admit I tried a stew made with plant “sausage” that was very good. Burgers? Blech.
Weakening the military in every way they can think of.
What this means is that our troops will be looking pasty and
not feeling up to par most of the time.
I’m not against a vegetarian diet, but with the higher level
of activity these men/women are under, they need the meat
supplement > IMO.
Yes I am aware of the book of Daniel.
Folks, this is a direct attack on our way of life. I wouldn’t
laugh this off. This is simply a guide to where we are
headed if the Left gets their way.
I could eat vegetarian - I do most of the time.
But I could never survive on ‘vegan’.
Shit-on-shingle will never be the same.
Soldiers need animal protein to build strong muscles.
Why not?
Popeye loved spinach.
p
I feel the same way about it.
............no better way to damage morale in a US military unit than F with the food! None!
The marxist bastards around Biden in the White House are doing the CCP’s bidding................in my opinion.
I spent 7 years in the Navy Reserve and 2 of those were active overseas. The food was VERY good by any measure and tastefully served 3 times a day. Almost made me want to reup! Almost.
“Popeye loved spinach”
Popeye was a Coastie
Don’t forget! They fed food laced with metal filings during the National Guard stay in Washington D.C. garages.
Seriously though, they should be eating shark steaks.
