They put in random pedestrian cross walks in a small city near me down the main street instead of just having pedestrians cross at intersections. Deaths and injuries have skyrocketed ever since.

Where I live, the bicyclists in their special space aged Lance Armstrongesque gear think they can defy the laws of physics.

In Arizona, drivers are required to stay at least three feet away from any bicyclist. I think there should be a complementary law saying that cyclists may not ride on any roadway that does not have a shoulder wide enough that cyclists are able to remain at least three feet outside the marked traffic lanes.

The way it is now on county roads and such, cyclists ride along the edge of the traffic lane (on or near the white line), and motorists often have to slow to the cyclists’ speed until they can cross the center line to get past. Dangerous for all concerned.

Yeah, no. We live in upstate NY in a rural area and our votes don’t count. All the sane conservatives have left the state. I believe I’m crazy for staying here.

...and ban street use of cleats for cyclists. Cyclists put themselves and others at risk when they do whatever possible to avoid stopping and putting a foot down.

The ones who really need a course are not drivers but pedestrians and cyclists.

Pedestrians need a course on crossing within the crosswalks and obeying traffic signals.

Cyclists need a course on obeying all the laws they love to break; running red lights, going the wrong way down one way streets, cycling against traffic, riding abreast and into traffic lanes instead of maintaining a single file, failing to yield to pedestrians, weaving in and out of traffic, etc.

One of the curses of the Bible is to be ruled by children. In my city they put bike paths in the MIDDLE of traffic lanes.

Not good enough, Hochul.

You should require that potential motorists submit proof of good character, and submit their Social Media history, as well as take a mandatory 100-hour training course.

I don’t know about that. She will most likely cheat on top of the fact that Dems outnumber Pubs 4 to 1 throughout the entire state. The pubs are leaving (conservative MAGA types) in droves.

If Zeldin gets in, it will be a miracle. He’s a RINO at best but it’s better than appointed by default Gov Rat Face.

In other words, if you’re riding a motorcycle down the street, and some bicyclist blows a stop sign, plowing right into you, causing you crash, resulting in serious injuries, yet the bicyclist skates on the liability?

The way bicyclist blow stop signs and traffic lights, why are they not required to carry insurance?

Maybe pedestrians should be schooled and licensed?

Lefties just love more regulation and bigger government. probably had to expand the DMV by thousands to hire more test writers.

Sharing the road with bicycles is one of the stupidest ideas in the past 20 years.

It was good for only one thing, increasing the number of fatal bike accidents.

The ruling class intends for us all to be walking or riding bikes.

Only free men get to drive motor vehicles.

I'd guess that's probably why the bicyclist are not required to carry insurance like everyone else is.

Does this make sense?
