Trump didn’t have the votes. It was created by legislation it will have to be undone by legislation.
It should be done though.
They should have started with significant defunding and let it atrophy until any support waned.
Faith in conventional political personalities including Ron DeSantis is just a game fueled by media with an agenda of distracting from Trump or any other movements out there that are not controlled by conventional political forces.
The conventional forces know what they want a 2030 agenda with the economy devastated and food supply diminished and humanity enslaved over ‘climate change’.
If you like that stuff keep drinking DeSantis Kool Aid, Pence Punch or Haley’s Honey name your poison.

HEW was the old name (Health, Education, and Welfare) then the ‘E’ was separated out in 1979 and started out with a $14 billion budget. It is now $68 billion with a request of $88 billion for 2023.

Great idea many have been calling for it for years the Department of Education is nothing more but a parasite of tax money to feed buy the vote cam.

To be fair, Trump said he would abolish the Dept. Of Education during his first campaign.... Then he didn’t do it. I remember this vividly as it was one of the reasons I voted for him. The fact that he didn’t was a HUGE disappointment to me.
