Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene faced criticism on social media on Saturday for calling non-biological parents "fake mom and fake dad" as Republicans push adoption as an abortion alternative in the wake of the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Greene, a Georgia Republican, warned about what she views as threats to children and conservative values during a discussion on her show MTG Live, which was posted to Rumble on Thursday. During the discussion, the congresswoman explained one reason she worries for children is because some are raised by "fake" parents.
"Children are in the greatest danger in America today because traditional family values are being destroyed—the idea that mom and dad together, not fake mom and fake dad, but the biological mom and biological dad, can raise their children together and do what's right for their children," she said.

Agree. Some of the best parents are adoptive parents.
Foster parents, not so much.
She thinks being sold for parts is better than being given to “fake” parents shows her value of life it makes her useless to anyone.
I believe that she was referring, rightfully so, to so called “parents” like Peter Buttplug and his whatever the Hell he is.....
I know many dedicated foster parents. I've known biological parents who I wouldn't trust with my cat much less a child.
We all know that what she was talking about is same sex foster parents and we all know she's against it. But the way it came out lumps all adoptive parents together and that is just flat out stupid.
Sad that we have to say "we think we know what she means" instead of her putting a coherent thought together before opening her mouth. A self-inflicted wound on her part and ammunition for media types to use against other Republican candidates, e.g. "Do you agree with Congressman Greene that all adoptive parents are fake?"

The whole lame “foster” system is ridiculous. Even with good fosters. Shipping kids around to different places can’t be good - just like split-up parents.
Orphanages should exist. Another institution that liberals destroyed because it’s “too mean” and “stigmatizing”.

MTG is easy for lefty media scum to take out of context. She’s outspoken so it’s going to happen.
But rather than have her clam up, she will do better to blare away because eventually enough Americans will come to know who she really is and consign her lefty critics to the street sewer.
If Donald Trump had clammed up for fear of some soy boy news idiot taking him out of context, we would have never seen him in the WH.
That said, a legitimate criticism of MTG is her silence on GA’s election corruption. She says it’s not in congressional purview or some such, to which I refer to her odiferous bovine excrement.
She can certainly take her bullhorn and hitch a ride down to GA, Atlanta even, and scream frickin bloody horsesh*t at Brad Raffenspuke and his refusal to allow inspection of the paper ballots from the 2020 steal of which GA is one of the worst if not the worst. She can do it despite being a Swamp Lizard because she’s still a citizen of GA.
The jails are not full of adopted children. Guess she’d prefer children be dead than live to prove children of single moms fill the jails — mustn’t allow that truth be told.
Let's insult adoptive parents right when they are needed the most.Kind of like insulting Republicans by putting words in their mouth every chance you get just when they're needed the most.

Foster care became the predominate form of caring for children back in the 1950's so I don't know how the liberals destroyed orphanages. On any given day there are almost 440,000 children in foster care. My own state of Missouri has 14,000 kids in its foster system. Do away with foster care and how many orphanages do you think would be needed to accommodate them all?
So we'll put you into the 'adoptive parents are fake' category with MTG?
In a way, Greene is like Trump. She’s a solid conservative with good ideas. But sometimes she says one more thing than is necessary. And then the media focuses on just that. It’s not fair. But it is what it is.
Try not to give your enemies any ammo, Marjorie.
So does Biden, and sometimes it seems a lot more frequently than Trump did. And how often does the opposition miss the chance to use it against them?
