I understand that empires always fall and that our decline has been obvious for many years. But, if we weren’t able to turn the decline around couldn’t we have, at least, avoided militarily taking on a better prepared, better run super power....

We have exacerbated our destruction in the pathetic attempt to double down on our failures in an ill advised effort to maintain world ruler status and are now in the process of committing suicide.

The only consolation in this disaster is that if/when Russia wins this NATO/Russia war it will definitively kill the “globalization, world central planning by elitists/oligarchs/big tech, new world order” that they have been shoving down our throats. And since THAT is the real enemy of the American people that victory may allow us to take back the broken remains of our country and once again develop a government “of the people, by the people and for the people.”

Next up - Breakup of the territory of the US into six or eight regions (I can’t remember how many on the plot) with appointed reginal governors.

If I remember, Sam Walton was into USA manufactured goods. It was when his kids took over that it really changed. I remember them having lots of “Made in USA” ads and signs when he was around.

NATOis giving up because the old nations of NATO don’t have the balls to protect their nations. They became tired, complacent, selfish, and believed the bullshit they sold to their confirmation bias that the world would not start another war. European leaders and their sycophants here in the US lost their way and believed that their old enemies were dead and stopped making defense items. Germany has nothing to give because they believed their own confirmation bias and that peace through economics and sharing of values would work.
Fighting wars is not optimal but rolling over for safety , power, and money gets you killed when hungry tribes are nocking at your door salivating for your wealth and offspring to have as their own.
As a side note, Here in the US the Wobblies of the 1910s have been reformed with antifa because we forgot what we fought against for individual freedom against the faceless mob rule and totalitarianism. You may consider the unionization wars of the 19th and 20th century to be for the working class but look at the leaders who ruled them, Lenin communists and the mafia. “We are for you but we will make the rules and keep ourselves in power; don’t like it, disappear”.
