Definitely Russia knows what it needs to target (HIMARS and Harpoons).
I think everyone understands that if Russia wants to ramp up the intensity of the war, they can. They’ve been taking a light touch so far, and maybe that time is ending and places like where the “decision makers” are will become realistic targets.
If Ukraine keeps talking about shooting missiles into Crimea and that kind of thing, then yeah I’d be evacuating all Americans and moving from Kiev to Lviv, too. Because Russia won’t wait around long to respond.
Blair states.....”The biggest geo-political change of this century will come from China not Russia.”....
I agree...however one can’t overlook that Putin has chosen to join head to head with China and Asian nations. .....and continues to build his relationship with ME nations.
I see China and Russia both using and offering one another what they desire for the time being. That could change in the future.
If Russia “wins” the conflict — and right now I’d bet on them winning it, whatever that means — that is going to be a massive boost for their self-esteem and their esteem in the world. No doubt about that.
And yeah China would also gain. And probably feel even better about moving against Taiwan.
Its ironic that he sees and admits it, as he, as much as anyone, had a hand in bringing about this decline of Western dominance.
I agree. I think Russia and China realize that working together against “the west” is in their best interests.
Exactly right
Yep...I distinctly recall when Obama basically pushed Russia into the arms of a waiting China. Obama quickly then did his “Pivot to Asia” unsuccessfully and while our media focused on that Putin was in a massive world tour with leaders making deals left and right...which our media ignored.
Blair is a has been, thank goodness. He can’t participate in causing any more disasters like the Iraq War.
The whole problem is this "dominance" word, the folks like Blair pushing the NWO neo-British Empire with its capital moved to cyberspace. Can we instead worry about our own country, keep our borders secure, maintain freedom of the sea and skies to trade with our allies and partners and let the rest of the world figure out what they want to do.
Turning the US into an economic parasite on the far East was the same kind of disaster as England establishing dependency on India or Portugal on Mozambique and Angola.
Becoming an economic parasite is a strategy, but it is not a sound long-term strategy.
hmmm...this again, eh? Lots of “encores” in the conflict.

Our vocabulary is now working against us. What Blair calls the “West” is going LGBT and moving in China’s direction economically. It no longer shares the anti-communist, Christian values of the cold war era. So freedom loving Americans would be better off detached from what is still called the “West”.
At least Americans can rest with the knowledge our military is a safe haven for queers and freaks and pregnant pilots have maternity flight suits. Real men and women in the military must shower with the non-binary freaks so there’s that comfort to fall back upon for all Americans.
Winning wars against ruthless enemies is SO OLD SCHOOL.
So are secure borders and law enforcement.
The real threat in America is from bakeries who won’t bake cakes for lesbian married couples.
Escobar: In Eurasia, The War Of Economic Corridors Is In Full Swing
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/escobar-eurasia-war-economic-corridors-full-swing
Mega Eurasian organizations and their respective projects are now converging at record speed, with one global pole way ahead of the other.
The War of Economic Corridors is now proceeding full speed ahead, with the game-changing first cargo flow of goods from Russia to India via the International North South Transportation Corridor (INSTC) already in effect.
Very few, both in the east and west, are aware of how this actually has long been in the making: the Russia-Iran-India agreement for implementing a shorter and cheaper Eurasian trade route via the Caspian Sea (compared to the Suez Canal), was first signed in 2000, in the pre-9/11 era.
The INSTC in full operational mode signals a powerful hallmark of Eurasian integration – alongside the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and last but not least, what I described as “Pipelineistan” two decades ago.
Caspian is key
Let’s have a first look on how these vectors are interacting.

The “West” as it was governed by parliamentary monarchies and the noble class in concert with Christian churches and ecclesiastical hierarchies ceased to exist after WW I & II.
It was replaced by popular democracy, political parties, and pluralistic unorganized religion.
Meanwhile culture and the arts sank to a combination of elite obscurantism and crass pop.
At China's current level of internal turmoil, I doubt they will be a unified country in 5 years.
“Be real...Look at any tag in your local stores.”
I’m not speaking to the present.
China is behaving quite rationally. China is practical and wants to do business, not to restrain business in order to participate in ideological conflicts between European powers.
China is still operating according to Deng Xiaoping's "I don't care if the cat is black or white, so long as it catches mice."
China has had its fling with European political/economic ideological conflict when it adopted Communism. It has since decided that it doesn't like it, and China has moved towards something more similar to traditional Chinese governance, with the CCP taking on a role similar to that of the Mandarin class.
Thanks a lot Democrats and dementia Joe.
Stolen elections have consequences.
Sounds about right.
Obama with another one of his failures.
