The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 attack will hold what could be its final public hearing of the summer during prime time on Thursday, examining former President Trump’s three hours of inaction during the insurrection.
A notice from the panel does not formally announce any witnesses, but the hearing will kick off at 8 p.m. and review the 187 minutes between Trump leaving his “Stop the Steal” rally that day and his finally issuing a statement asking supporters who ransacking the Capitol to go home.
“We’ll talk about what was going on in the White House while the Capitol was being overrun, and basically we will show what the president — as best we can put together — was doing all that time. Or not doing,” Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) told reporters Wednesday.

Not that it would matter to the mindless morons that actually watch these hearings and think there’s something to them, but Thompson and his crew of clowns should be grateful that no defense is being allowed. He and the rest would be crushed.

Sorry Jan 6 committee, but I have my priorities.
Why is the GOP not asking for equal time from TV networks? You know that’s what Dems would do and get if the shoe was on the other foot.
2. Protesting against vote fraud is not a form of insurrection.
3. Days before January 6th Trump asked that the National Guard be sent to the Capitol to keep the peace, but Pelosi and others took no such action.
4. The Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, never accepted that Trump won, and did everything they could to subvert his presidency. This includes Hillary hiring people to make up an entirely false story about Trump, and then push it to the level of a special committee- all the while knowing it was false.
5. The Democrats and Clinton campaign spied on Trump while he was a candidate.
6. Democrats/Trump haters/elitists in the FBI attempted to prevent Trump from being elected, and then attempted to take him down after he was elected.
etc. etc.
Wake me when they decide to investigate the origins of this 'burning down of the Reichstag' play, and an investigation of the agent provocateurs (including the infamous Ray Epps).
And a thorough investigation of the Trump supporters who were murdered that day: Ashli Babbitt, and Rosanne Boyland.
And yes, the travesty of locking up harmless 'trespassers' (the bulk of whom were waved into the Capitol) for nearly 2 years in DC Gitmo...
