Former President Donald Trump is weighing when to announce a 2024 presidential campaign.

Speaking with New York Magazine, Trump indicated he has already made a decision to launch a 2024 campaign but has not determined when to make his announcement. Trump signaled he is weighing an announcement either before or after the midterm elections in November.

“Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore,” Trump said about running in 2024. “In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision,” he doubled down. “I would say my big decision will be whether I go before or after [the midterms].”

Trump explained his thought process on the pros and cons of announcing before and after the midterm elections, noting that the potential campaign would be a victorious one.

“I just think that there are certain assets to before,” he said. “Let people know. I think a lot of people would not even run if I did that because, if you look at the polls, they don’t even register. Most of these people. And I think that you would actually have a backlash against them if they ran. People want me to run.”

In an interview with @Olivianuzzi, Donald Trump says he's already made a decision about 2024.

The only question left in his mind is when he’ll announce his run https://t.co/h6mGKl6BPg

Trump told Breitbart News on Wednesday he is unsure if President Joe Biden will launch a reelection bid. Biden has stated he will run in 2024, but polling shows only 14 percent of voters support Biden’s reelection. ..

“You have to do a great job to be the nominee beyond any other problems they may have,” Trump told Breitbart News. “You have to do at least a reasonable job, and so far I don’t believe our country has ever been at a lower point than it is right now. To a large extent, it started with the borders where the people are pouring through, but it also started with the Afghan withdrawal and the way it was done. That was a terrible moment for our country.”

I'm sure he's weighing options but his first wife and mother of his children just passed. I don't think even DJT's massive ego would allow him to simply push that aside and concentrate on a run for the presidency.

It's time for family. Give it time. He's a little occupied now.

I’d rather have someone other than the proud sponsor of the clot shot as our nominee. Operation Warp Speed was in fact Operation Warped Vision. Trump has many strengths, but he is incapable of admitting a serious mistake.

If he won, it’s tougher than the first trump administration. Democrats and turtle would fight against him really hard. They showed their true color after 2020

And knowing President Trump as we do, I am sure he would be punching back even harder.

Here we go again. I’ll act surprised. This is a tease, not by Trump but the MSM. Trump just playing along. It would be a distraction-no need b4 November. The idea keeps people paying attention-that’s good.

His current job is to make sure the stupid party doesn’t blow it(again). You can tell he’s effective by the lame stream media’s reaction.

Energizing demoralized Democrat voters (and anti-Trump RINOs) prior to the midterms wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do and Trump ought to be intelligent enough to understand that, massive ego or otherwise.

Patriotic Americans are ALREADY quite inspired to vote against Biden, Pelosi & Schumer in November. Trump’s announcement would add nothing to their current enthusiasm.

Therefore look for the Democrat media to desperately try to help their team by goading Trump into revealing his intentions prior to November.

If Trump does the unthinkable and declares he will NOT be running in 2024, the resulting demoralization on the right combined with unbridled delight on the left is also something which would be quite stupid to reveal prematurely.

President Trump is supposed to have a rally tomorrow in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

I wonder if that has been cancelled because he needs to spend time with his family.

Oh please. Fauci, Collins, CDC, FDA and the deep state arrayed against here were never for giving him the timeliest and best, accurate information. To put that crap (the subsequent revelations of what FDA, Pfizer, et al did to get their concoctions approved for use) off as his fault is absurd.

The original vaccine was a Godsend for AT RISK PEOPLE at the time it came out.

It was insane, and not Trump’s fault, to try to vaccinate everybody and their 6 month old.

No, unfortunately, when it comes to medical issues Trump is one of the hapless sheep. He’s a man with natural immunity to covid who expresses pride in getting a booster shot. I’d greatly prefer someone who understands what is going on and will crack down on FDA. And I believe that someone is Desantis.

Trump needs to wait until after the Mid-Terms in order to see what the make-up of the state legislatures and who will be the governor in the states of PA, AZ, WI, and MI. These states had legislatures controlled by RINOs who were happy to let the Dems steal it from MAGA. If that situation has not changed after the Mid-Terms, then they will allow 2024 to be stolen from Trump (and any other MAGA candidates) again.

GA is lost. GA is a cesspool of Uniparty/Dominion/Drop-box corruption that will unite to defeat MAGA. As long as Rat-booger and Kemp keep their jobs, they will allow the Rats to steal anything else they want.

You can prefer all you want. When it comes down to it if he runs is that DeSantis will not.

Also, just what the hell do you expect of a President whose election was stolen from him to say about vaccinations now? You want him to say they’re bullshit? You want him to throw MORE wood on the deep state fire to give them MORE ammunition to bleat against him with? I think his level of comment on the matter is quite enough, myself....

DeSantis is not going to happen this time. I’d like to see him as a running mate and then go for President in 2028 but that’s not likely to happen, either. In the end, Trump runs and I’m going to vote for him. Millions of other former Trump voters will also do the same.

The actual data shows that the Pfizer vaccine increases all-cause mortality for everyone.

With vitamin D & C, hydroxychloroquine & Ivermectin, & hydrogen peroxide, you can stop covid with almost zero risk.

Trump didn’t figure it out in 2020, and I still haven’t heard him admit the mistake. He just doesn’t understand and accept the gross corruption of medicine by Big Pharma. Governor Desantis seems to have figured it out, so I strongly prefer him as our nominee.

I do think that Trump did a superb job on foreign policy and a very good job on the economy.

Neither you nor I control the world. Trump and Desantis will both do what they think is best. And you and I will do the same.
